Grantee Profiles Listed are descriptions of grants that have been awarded in the past that best exemplify the boards enthusiasms.
Adolescent & Childhood Mental Health
	Centerstone, Nashville, TN This grant will enable Centerstone's Child, Adolescent and Family Services to produce two kNOw Depression educational digital videos on the effects of depression to be viewed by youth and adults across Tennessee. The videos will offer facts about depression symptoms and give guidance on how and where to access care.
Youth Conservation Education
	The Mountain Institute's Appalachia Program, Elkins, WV "Reading the Landscape" is a hands-on, science-oriented environmental education program for West Virginia youth. The program instills knowledge and ownership values for the environment among Appalachian adolescents.
Service Learning
	Colgate University's Upstate Institute, Hamilton, NY The High School Philanthropy Education Project teaches high school students about philanthropy through a process that allows them to function as a small foundation and award small grants to organizations in their community. Colgate Students who have participated in the Philanthropy Council will help teach. This will be followed by a conference on College and High School Philanthropy Programs.
